Yoga practice is available from beginning level to advanced. Gentle yoga classes are open to those with limited mobility and students move with comfort according to their available range of movement. Vinyasa and Yin Flow classes include options for all levels of students. Class sizes are small without competition, to ensure a pleasant and relaxing experience.
Yoga provides discipline to those struggling with addictions and the stresses of our increasingly complex lifestyle. As participants learn the somatic practices of yoga and repeat them, they develop daily patterns that help to focus the mind and body, alleviating addictive behaviors and relaxing internal stressors to the nervous system. Yoga activities include breathing, meditation, and “asana” practice that are appropriate for daily use. These programs support the philosophy of maintaining sobriety and mental clarity one day at a time.
Counseling is provided by the Creekside Therapeutics staff for youth and caregivers. Private counseling sessions and support groups are available including therapeutic yoga.
Life coaching is a process in which a coach helps individuals to identify their goals, overcome obstacles, and make positive changes in their lives. Consultations are available with a National Board Certified Health Coach.
In a life coaching session, you can expect to discuss your goals, challenges, and strategies for overcoming obstacles. Your coach will provide guidance, support, and accountability to help you achieve your goals.
The length of a life coaching program depends on the individual and their goals. Some programs may last a few months, while others may last a year or more.
